We usually reply within a couple of business days. To get help faster, include: what you were trying to do, what happened instead, your iPhone model and iOS version, and — if it is about a specific design — roughly when you generated it. Accounts are anonymous and the app does not show you an account number, so for anything account-related the useful details are dates: roughly when you installed the app, and roughly when you last generated a design.

What RoomFigure does

You take a photo of a room. RoomFigure sends it to an AI model, which returns a redesigned version of that same room — new finishes, furniture, and styling, in your actual space rather than a stock photo. You can pick a style, describe what you want, and compare the result against the original side by side.

What it produces is an illustration, not a plan. It is a picture of a possibility, not an architectural drawing or a structural assessment, and it can show things that are not achievable in your space. Take it to a qualified professional before you build anything from it.

Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. The app works anonymously out of the box — no email, no password. There is no sign-in at all, so there is nothing to create, nothing to remember, and nothing to lose the password to.

What happens to my photo?

It is uploaded to our private storage and then sent to a third-party AI model provider (Google's Gemini image models, via Vercel AI Gateway) to produce the redesign. That is the only model provider your photo reaches. Your photos are stored in private buckets, are not publicly accessible, and are readable only by your own account. The full picture is in the Privacy Policy.

The result changed my room's layout / added a window / looks wrong.

Generative models improvise, and they sometimes invent geometry that is not in your room. Things that help: shoot in landscape from a corner so more of the room is in frame, use good light, avoid heavy clutter in the foreground, and be specific in your prompt about what to keep ("keep the window position and the door on the left"). If a result is unusable, generate again — different runs give different results.

My generation failed or got stuck.

Check your connection and try again. If a generation genuinely fails on our side, the credit it used is refunded automatically. If you were charged a credit for something that never produced an image, email us with the approximate time and we will sort it out.

Does the app tell me what a renovation would cost?

No. An earlier version of this page said it did. It does not: there is no cost estimate in the app, we do not ask for your ZIP code, and nothing in RoomFigure will put a number on your renovation. If you need a figure, get a written quote from a licensed contractor — that is the only kind worth acting on.

What do credits do?

Generating a design spends credits. A subscription grants an allotment each period; the amount is shown in the app when you subscribe. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.

What does a subscription cost?

$39.99 per year or $9.99 per week, and both come with the same 3-day free trial — the trial is once per Apple ID across the two plans. US prices; other storefronts are set by Apple in local currency. Both renew automatically until cancelled.

I subscribed but the app says I'm not subscribed.

Open the app, go to Settings → Subscription, and tap Restore purchases. Make sure you are signed into the same Apple ID that made the purchase. If it still does not unlock, email us and mention which Apple ID storefront you are in and when you purchased.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by us — we have no ability to issue one. Request it at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I lost my projects after reinstalling.

Anonymous accounts live on the device. If you reinstall, the app creates a fresh anonymous account and the old history is not recoverable. There is no sign-in, by design — nothing to sign into means nothing that can restore a deleted install, and no way to carry an account to a new device. If a design matters to you, tap Save on the result: that writes it to your photo library, where it survives anything we do.

How to cancel your subscription

Cancellation goes through Apple, not through us. On your iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap RoomFigure.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

You can also do it at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.

Timing matters. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, or you will be charged for the next one. If you are on the free trial — which is 3 days on either plan — that means cancelling at least 24 hours before day 3. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Neither does deleting your RoomFigure account. Cancel through Apple first.

How to delete your account and your data

You can delete individual projects and photos in the app at any time. To remove everything:

  1. Open the app and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

That option is in every build and it is the complete path — it is not a request form, and it does not send you to us. If you cannot reach it — for example the app will not open, or you have already deleted the app — email flamm.alex@gmail.com and ask us to delete your account. Tell us roughly when you installed it and roughly when you last generated a design: your account is anonymous, so we have no name or email address to look you up by, and without something to go on we may not be able to identify it. We will confirm when it is done, normally within a few days and always within 30 days.

What deletion actually removes: your profile, projects, photo records, generated designs, generation records, credit ledger and balance, subscription record, conversations, and chat messages — plus the actual image files in both storage buckets. It is a cascading delete, not a hidden flag, and it cannot be undone. We keep the minimum billing records required for accounting and tax, with your account identifier removed.

Cancel your subscription with Apple first. Deleting your RoomFigure account does not stop Apple from billing you.
