Terms of Use
End User Licence Agreement for the RoomFigure iOS app.
These Terms of Use (this "Agreement") are a contract between you and RoomFigure ("RoomFigure", "we", "us"), the developer of the RoomFigure iOS application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Two things to know before anything else
Generated designs are illustrations, not plans. See section 3.3.
Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple ID settings, at least 24 hours before the period ends. See section 4.
1. What the App does
You photograph a room. RoomFigure sends that photograph to an AI model, which returns a redesigned version of the same room. Generating designs consumes credits, which are granted by your subscription or otherwise made available in the App.
The App requires an internet connection and depends on third-party AI providers. We do not guarantee any particular output, any particular speed, or uninterrupted availability.
2. Licence
Subject to this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. This licence is for your personal, non-commercial use, except that you may use output from the App in connection with your own property or your own renovation project, including sharing it with a contractor, designer, landlord, or agent.
You may not: copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App except where that restriction is prohibited by law; rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the App; use the App to build a competing product or to train a machine-learning model; scrape or bulk-extract from the service; circumvent credit limits, rate limits, or the paywall; or use automated means to access the service.
3. Your content and the AI output
3.1 Your photos remain yours
You keep all rights in the photographs you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, store, transmit, and process them — including sending them to our AI model providers — solely to operate the App, provide your results, and support you. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account. Details of how photos are handled are in the Privacy Policy.
3.2 What you promise about what you upload
You represent that you have the right to submit each photograph you upload, that submitting it does not violate anyone's privacy or intellectual property rights, and that it does not contain unlawful content. Do not upload photographs of a property you have no right to photograph, and do not upload images whose subject is a person — the App is for rooms.
3.3 Output
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we do not claim ownership of the images the App generates for you, and you may use them for your own purposes. Because generative models can produce similar results for different users, we cannot promise your output is unique, and we make no representation that output is free of third-party rights.
Generated designs are illustrations, not plans. They are not architectural drawings, structural assessments, or construction documents. They may show fixtures, layouts, or structural changes that are not physically possible, not permitted by code, or not achievable in your space. Do not build from them without a qualified professional.
4. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation
4.1 Plans and prices

Prices are in US dollars and apply to the United States storefront. In other storefronts the price is set by Apple in local currency and may differ, including because of local taxes. The price shown in the App at the moment of purchase is the price that applies.
4.2 Auto-renewal — read this part
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends, at the price for the plan you are on.
- You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase: on your device, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → RoomFigure.
- Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. Neither does deleting your RoomFigure account. You must cancel through Apple.
4.3 Free trial
A 3-day free trial is offered on both the annual and the weekly plan. It is available once per Apple ID across both plans — taking the trial on one plan uses it up for the other. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the trial converts automatically to a paid subscription on the plan you started it on, and your Apple ID is charged $39.99 for the annual plan or $9.99 for the weekly plan. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where an equivalent offer applies.
4.4 What a subscription gets you
An active subscription grants access to paid features and a periodic allotment of credits for generating designs, as described in the App at the time of purchase. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable. Unused credits carry over. We do not expire them. There is no expiry period, no monthly reset that takes anything away, and no mechanism in our system that removes an unused credit from your balance — credits leave it only when you spend one or when your account is deleted. If we ever introduce an expiry, we will say so here and in the App before it starts applying, and it will not be applied retroactively to credits you already hold. If a generation fails because of an error on our side, we refund the credit it consumed.
4.5 Refunds
All purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. We cannot issue a refund for an App Store purchase. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Except where required by law, payments are otherwise non-refundable, and we do not provide partial refunds for an unused part of a period.
4.6 Price changes
We may change subscription prices. Any change applies to periods after the change, and Apple will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent before a renewal at the new price.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the App to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, to generate content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, or violent, to depict a real person, to impersonate anyone, to misrepresent output as an official plan or a professional quote, to interfere with or overload our systems, or to access another user's data. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, and we may block an account that abuses credits or attempts to defraud us.
6. Accounts
You use the App anonymously. There is no sign-in — no username, no password, and no third-party sign-in — so the anonymous account the App creates lives on the device you installed it on and cannot be carried to another one. You are responsible for anything done through your account. If you delete your RoomFigure account, your content is deleted and cannot be recovered — see the Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to the App and to these Terms
We may add, change, or remove features, including the AI models used, and may discontinue the App. We may update this Agreement; the current version is always at this URL with its date at the top. If a change is material we will notify you in the App, and continuing to use the App after it takes effect means you accept it.
8. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and everything it produces are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any design is accurate, feasible, complete, or suitable for your project. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of this may not apply to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoomFigure will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or the cost of substitute services, arising out of or relating to the App — including any renovation, purchase, or financial decision made in reliance on a generated design — whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility.
Our total liability for all claims relating to the App is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or US$50. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold RoomFigure harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you submit, your use of the App, your breach of this Agreement, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach this Agreement or if we discontinue the App. Sections 3.3, 8, 9, 10, and 13 survive termination. Terminating your account does not cancel your subscription with Apple.
12. Apple-specific terms
The following terms apply because the App is distributed through the Apple App Store, and are required by Apple.
- Acknowledgement. This Agreement is between you and RoomFigure only, and not with Apple. RoomFigure, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
- Scope of licence. The licence granted to you for the App is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set out in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the App may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
- Maintenance and support. RoomFigure is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support services for the App, as specified in this Agreement or as required by applicable law. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance and support services for the App.
- Warranty. RoomFigure is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) for the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty will be RoomFigure's sole responsibility.
- Product claims. RoomFigure, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation. This Agreement does not limit RoomFigure's liability to you beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
- Intellectual property rights. In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of it infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, RoomFigure, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
- Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo, or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country; and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Developer name and address. RoomFigure. For questions, complaints, or claims, contact flamm.alex@gmail.com.
- Third-party terms of agreement. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App.
- Third-party beneficiary. You acknowledge and agree that Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement, and that upon your acceptance of this Agreement, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce this Agreement against you as a third-party beneficiary of it.
13. General
This Agreement, together with the Privacy Policy, is the entire agreement between you and RoomFigure about the App. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign this Agreement; we may assign it in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules, except that this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
